Stronger Together

Spruce Root looks to the story of Aas Khwáan, Tree People, of how and why we do our work. The story was told by the late Clarence Jackson of the Tsaagweidi, Eagle/Killerwhale clan from Kake, Alaska in 2012. With permission, it was then interpreted and retold by Kingeistí, David Katzeek, who gave us permission to share it here.

The Sustainable Southeast Partnership weaves together the energy, protection and structure to create an overarching collaborative environment.
The Seacoast Trust catalyzes transformative investment for the Southeast Region to prosper.
Spruce Root is the grounding anchor of our programs, interwoven with other support systems to provide the base of our work for our region.
