Michael Mausbach

Michael grew up on the traditional lands of the Coast Salish people in Washington State and earned a degree in Global Studies and International Relations with a focus on diplomacy, along with a minor in Cultural Analysis.
Their studies explored the role of memory in politics, art, and regenerative tourism in Turkey, Egypt, Thailand, and Cambodia. After moving to Southeast Alaska, Michael spent a decade growing rural education programs, developing a passion for experiential learning and career and technical education. Outside of work, Michael has served on numerous arts and sciences boards.
In their current role as Regional Catalyst and Program Manager for Workforce Development, they bring a unique blend of global perspective and workforce development experience.
