Ashley R. Guthrie
Ashley R. Guthrie (Iñupiaq/Aleut) is originally from Sitka, but currently lives in Juneau with her Husband & children. Ashley’s professional background is in Healthcare Administration. She is the Client Services Coordinator at Spruce Root, where she provides administrative support to the Technical Assistance team, as well as project coordination for the Alaska Native Resilience Circles Program. Ashley is passionate about the human services field and is an enthusiast about helping individuals transform through healing and holistic wellness. She enjoys networking and fostering relationships with many clients across the region. Ashley loves creative writing, and is a published poet. Some of her work is featured in The Yellow Medicine Review, an international journal of Indigenous literature.
Favorite thing about Southeast Alaska: The salty sea air, majestic mountain peaks, and abundance of trees that is everywhere you look. The rich culture, strong sense of community and connection that is so genuine and feels like home. The moody rainforest weather that I always find solace in.
