Path to Prosperity (P2P)

Spruce Root’s Path to Prosperity programs grow local businesses that will have positive social, ecological and economic impacts on their communities and promote sustainable use of local resources in Southeast Alaska.

Lending Program

Spruce Root's loan program is unique – just like your business!  Our business coaches work with you to develop and refine your business plan, budget, and financial structure before you apply for funds to give your business the strongest opportunity for success. We will consider any business loan opportunity that will promote the economic development of Southeast Alaska.

Sustainable Southeast Partnership

The Sustainable Southeast Partnership (SSP) addresses complex social, environmental, and economic challenges through purposeful collaboration. For nearly ten years, SSP has worked to catalyze community-driven initiatives that improve the quality of life and resiliency of Southeast Alaskans.

Seacoast Trust

The Seacoast Trust envisions a new economic model for Southeast Alaska, one in which access to capital and a strong foundation of Indigenous values is the basis for healthy communities, in tandem with the conservation of natural resources for the benefit of future generations.

RESILIENCE CIRCLES

Resilience Circles is a trauma-informed, culturally responsive program to enhance the well-being and success of growing Native-led organizations. Our goal is to strengthen the capacities of Alaska Native enterprises for ecosystem guardianship, long-term economic resilience, comprehensive well-being and community mental health.
