With funding from the Healthy Food Financing Initiative Partnership Program, Spruce Root has joined a partnership of nine organizations—including community development financial institutions (CDFIs), business assistance organizations, and place-based agencies—to enhance access to healthy food for communities in Alaska, Washington, and Oregon.

Alongside our partners, we will be providing low interest loans, planning grants, and technical assistance to eligible food businesses and retailers that provide healthy staple and fresh foods to low income communities.
