Kennedy Kruchoski

Kennedy Kruchoski is the Executive Assistant & Special Projects Manager for Spruce Root, providing administrative support for the organization. Kennedy comes to Spruce Root from a background in environmental planning and has been working with public, non-profit, and private sector groups on environmental and sustainability planning and project development since 2017. She grew up near Anchorage, and moved to Minnesota to study environmental psychology and Spanish. After 7 years in the midwest, she returned to Alaska in 2019. She is a guest on Lingít Aaní, and is honored to learn from its lands and communities. She is excited to apply her background in administration and planning to support the inspiring entrepreneurs in Southeast Alaska.
Favorite thing about Southeast Alaska: The strong and intimate ties to land and community, and the abundance of creativity and support for local artists of all disciplines.
